Our 7th meeting is coming up in December and with some more new ideas, things are sure to get better in 2009. We are still looking for funding, but that does not mean to say that we are not dedicated to delivering THE best literary forum Stoke on Trent has ever seen.
Take a look at the meetings page to see what's in store Meetings page. As always we're looking for new members all the time, so if you know someone who would benefit from one of our meetings, get them to come down!

Welcome
Welcome to A Meeting of Minds, formerly known as The Writer's Forum. We are an organisation dedicated to showcasing and assisting writers and authors in Staffordshire, with our primary location in Stoke on Trent. We have a meeting every three months with guest speakers from the local area and an open discussion of topics affecting writers in stoke.
A Meeting of Minds was founded by Dominic Took in 2007 to assist with and help those who didn't know where to turn, or what to do with their work. Whether they were confused about self publishing, or the literary submission process. Dominic's own area of expertise lie in Self Publishing, where he single handedly published his own book called The Storms of Acias in 2005.
On behalf of Dominic Took the founder, we hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to seeing and hearing from you very soon.
